INVITES TO PRIVATE BLOG NOT BEING RECEIVED

I’ve successfully –in terms of your form on that page–I’ve successfully input 15 or so new users’ email addys in your form one at a time. I’ve clicked “author” and then clicked “send invite” or whatever that button says.
It APPEARS that the invite has gone through well.
HOWEVER, NONE OF THE DESIRED NEW USERS HAVE YET RECEIVED ANY OF THE INVITES now 48 hours or so later.
Also, I don’t see how, for the private blog, to invite folks who are already wordpress.com users by just using their wordpress user names.

I’m having a similar problem. I had sucessfully invited a bunch of folks to my private blog. (Actually I paid to have more users.) However, one person lost her password and then couldn’t reset it. (Another problem for another post.) As a workaround, she wanted to set up another WordPress account for an alternative e-mail address. However, when I fill out the invite form and click on send invite, it doesn’t send. I just get a message at the top that says, “Please complete the form” rather than “Invite successfully sent.” Please help as this is a vital source of time sensitive information for my group.

I’ve received more “invite successfully sent” messages but it still was NOT successfully sent!
Have received a few “Please complete the form” msgs.
Sigh.
Hope they get a fix in soon.

Would you please ask the folks to check their spam folder and whitelist @wordpress.com in their email client?

For me, I send all my invites a separate, personal e-mail alerting them to the fact that the invite could be hiding in their spam/junk mail folders. I’m not sure why so many go directly to the spam pile, but, for me, it’s more frustrating that I fill out the invite form multiple times and it completely resets before sending anything.
