Inviting a friend to my blog

How do I invite a friend to my blog so we both can post news? Is it also possible that both of us can change design etc.? I mean that both of us have the same amount of acces to the blog?

hi moggiii, if you go into your dashboard then you will see on the right “users” click on that and scroll down to where it says Add User From Community, put in their email, then on the roll dropdown menu you can set what you want them to do from there,as for changing design you can change themes only unless you buy the css upgrade

ah thank you for your reply! Didn’t look on the very right site! So if I set him as an administrator, he pretty much can do everything, right?

Yes, they can. Also, for future reference, you should link your name to your site. Go to Dashboard -> Users -> Your Profile -> Contact Info. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
It will be much easier for the forum helpers if you have questions in the future :) -
Be very careful adding someone as an administrator to your blog. There is a reason there are separate roles (see http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/12/what-are-the-different-roles/ ) and if you add someone as an administrator, they can delete you!
Nearly every time we have a claim of hacking here in the forums it is because someone as either shared their password (another no-no) or given someone administrative access.
