Inviting a new administrator – not showing up
-
I have invited a new administrator. The second administrator is myself, using a different user name and email. I created two separate blogs and have discovered that they use the same gravitar etc. So that I can separate them, I have registered a new user name and email address, then from the first blog, invited the second user to be an administrator of that blog with the intention of that administrator taking control of the second blog.
But … although I receive the email link inviting me to become an administrator and click on that link, the second identity is not showing up on the first blog as an approved administrator. I have waited nearly 24 hours for this to happen. Is there anything else that I should be doing? Thank you for any assistance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thank you. I’ll be patient. I just checked quickly and the second administrator is still not recognised as as an authorised user. :-(

Before clicking on the link, make sure that you are completely logged out of your existing account. Then log into the new account. Then, and only then, click the invitation link.
Let me know if that helps.

That worked – thank you Rootjosh. Now I just have to figger out the rest of the process of separating the two blogs so that they are administered independently.
