Inviting an Editor to my wordpress

I’ve invited my friend to write on my blog, I sent her an invitation to be an editor but when she goes to accept it, it asks her to sign up on WordPress and while signing up she needs to make a url but she doesn’t want to do that since she is writing on my blog. I’ve been invited to contribute to a blog before and there was already an account set up for me with a username and password…. does anyone know how she can join my blog without having to make her own?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

She does not have to register a blog. She can choose to accept the invitation and then only register a username account.
She will need to click the “Accept Invitation” button in the invitation email. If she does not have a username account she will be taken to the log-in screen, where she can either create a new user account.
Note that users who create a new WordPress.com account at that point will still need to return to the invitation email and click the “Accept Invitation” button after doing so.
