inviting mac users

  I have just set up a private blog for my work colleagues. I have invited windows operators without problem, but the MAC users in the office are asked to register with word press.. Can someone explain why and is there a way around this problem?

  All viewers added to a private blog must have a WordPress.com account. Are you sure that it isn’t just a coincidence and your Wondows co-workers happen to already have accounts?
