Inviting new users not working

I have set up a private blog and invited several people to it. So far, four people have received the invitation and had no problems, but two people are receiving the error message that they have an invalid email/username. They are accessing the log in page by following the link provided in the invitation email, so I’m really not sure why it isn’t working. If anyone could help I’d really appreciate it!

I would have them copy and paste the link from the e-mail in the browser that they are using and see if that does anything different…

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately I’ve tried that as well as resending the invitation. I think I may have figured it out, those people are not already registered as users, so they need to sign up for their own blogs before they can access mine. Too bad, it seems like a lot of hassle considering this blog is for work purposes.

The folks you invite do not need to set up blogs: they only need WordPress accounts. The only personal information WordPress requires is the email address and a username.
