inviting people to be an author

    I have sent an invitation to a person with their email to be an author on my private blog and they say they did not get the email. do they have to be a member of word press to get an email?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Even if they don’t have a WordPress.com account, they’ll have to create one upon accepting your request.

    If they didn’t receive the invitation email, ask them to check their spam folders.

    Also, you can go to the People menu on your Dashboard. If there are any pending invitations you should see them on that page. You can then try resending the invitation. You can also delete the pending invitations and send a completely new invitation.
