Inviting people to my blog

I’m a blog newbie! I’d like to send my blog to a few friends to test to make sure that everything is in the right place. I found information about connecting to Facebook and other platforms. At this point I just want to share the blog with a few friends while I find my way around. Thanks!

Hi there — you can invite friends to follow your site. When logged into your account, go to My Site (at top left), then scroll down to “People” and click “Add”. On that page, you can invite people to view/follow your blog by entering their email addresses (or usernames, if they’re already on WordPress.com).
Alternatively, if you add a Follow Blog Widget to one of your widget areas, people in general can subscribe to your blog this way, too. https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/
