Inviting people to subscribe to your blog via email

  Does anyone know if there is a way invite people to subscribe to/follow your blog through email? Am I able to send an email invite to people through my wordpress page with a link they can click on in order to subscribe?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, there is. See the Inviting Contributors, Followers, and Viewers support page for relevant information and instructions.

  No, that’s not how the subscribe links and buttons work. The Follow Blog Widget, the Follow Button (another widget), and the follow button present in the Action Bar are three ways to invite visitors to subscribe or follow your site, but clicking on them doesn’t send an email message. Rather, they either immediately result in a logged member becoming a follower, ask the visitor to log in or register an account, or ask a nonmember to provide an email address where posts may be sent.
