Inviting subscribers

  I imported a subscriber’s email, but received an error message via email saying that ”we hit a small snag” in the process. Here are various reasons this would happen:
  Some email domains are known spammers or abusers, so we block such domains from receiving email.
  The email address you tried to add is associated with a WordPress.com user account that has chosen not to receive email.
  The email address has too many pending invites for subscriptions.

  My question is, Is there still a way to send an invite to a subscriber asking them to subscribe? How else can this be resolved?
