  I am inviting others to my blog. Can they use any e-mail? and if they sign on to wordpress, what is their username form?

  Invite People to Follow Your Blog

  Your followers are the people who have signed up to receive updates each time you publish new content. They do not have any editing privileges. If your blog is public, anyone can follow it, but you may want to send out invitations to specific people who you’d like to share your blog with.

  If so, then they can use any email they like and don’t need to have a wordpress.com account.

  If people sign up for a wp.com account, their username is what they choose at the time the sign up.
