    Good morning,
    I would like to know what’s happended on my site about charges and then i WANT to be unsubscribed. I do no want to pay any penalty ( over 2017, all the more i have never understood how to make operate wordpress) and any subscribtion for the next year (2018) as you deducted already my account from paypal. I remember you that the period should start the 2018/02/04, i have planned to cancel this subscription before this date and before to receiced this new earlier invoice for 2018 from your part.
    So, please to inform me, very soon, that you will pay me back from paypal and you will execute my demand to be unsubsrcibed from wordpress or to indicate me very exactly how to follow this procedure ( without paying this year 2018).

    We issue a full refund for any upgrade or renewal if requested within 30 days of payment.

    However, I see you’ve disputed the charge with your bank. When you dispute a charge you are accusing us of fraud and the funds are frozen pending an investigation, making it impossible for us to refund you. You will only receive a refund if our payment processor closes their investigation in your favor.

    Additionally, filing a dispute against us causes your site to be locked pending payment of a chargeback fee. You won’t be able to make any changes to your site until you pay this fee. You can see our full policy in this regard here:

    If you cancel your dispute we might still be able to refund you immediately and remove the lock from your site. Please contact your bank to cancel the dispute and let us know, then we can process the refund for you.     Thank you for your informations but i knew the process as far as you wrote to me.
    i paid charges and then I cancelled my site as it was possible. NOW I WANT TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION FROM WORDPRESS. HOW TO DO ? is it a so difficult question to answer me ? should i still wait you decide to unlock definitively and entirely my (ex)site , if yes, how many times again ?

  • What do you still want to cancel?

    The upgrades you had with us were removed when you filed a dispute against us. If you don’t cancel the dispute, you need to wait on your bank to refund you. We cannot refund a charge with an open dispute.

    You have also deleted your site now, so there is nothing else to cancel.

    i m sorry but it is not clear. My dispute is closed. How is it possible that my account is still opened as you offer me to create another one or the same site. does it mean that my subscription at WordPress is still working even if i cancelled my ex site ? I want to cut the link definitevely with you wordpress for monthes and years within i m not a webmaster and i do no want to pay anymore for whatever. I just want to know, thanks you’re reading those last explanations, if i have to wait again whitout doing anything to be paid back and/ or if a process shoud be made on my behalf in a few days to close the subscription. PLEASE SPECIFY me the wait times and if necessary the process . My AMERICAN is not fluent but i think you are able to understand my will and questions.

    Did you cancel it, or was it closed by your bank? If they closed the dispute in your favour, they will be refunding you, so you’ll need to wait for them to complete the process on their end.

    I’ll also ask our billing team to check on the dispute’s status from our end.

    What offer exactly are you speaking about? You no longer own any upgrades on WordPress.com, and you have deleted your site so you no longer own a site either.

    There is no subscription to close, no upgrade to cancel, and no site to delete in your account. You don’t own anything with us any more, just an empty account.

  • I heard back from our billing team, and it seems the dispute was closed in our favor, so we’ve issued a refund both for the Premium Plan payment and the chargeback fee. You should receive the full refund in about 10 business days, depending on your bank’s processing times.
