iOS 7 WordPress App is a disaster.

    Is anyone else having crash issues. with the iOS 7 WordPress App? Two of my articles have disappeared, some are not updating and I cannot access my Dashboard from my WP App. It brings me to the non-mobile login format. In short, the WP App is a mess.

    If someone could address and resolve any or, preferably all, of these issues, I will be forever grateful and link to your blog. :)

    Thank you but I don’t use WP.Org. I use the WP.Com format. I thought they were different formats?

    We’re sorry about version 3.8 for iOS. The mobile crew slid in a couple of last minute things that led to far, far too many bugs than are acceptable. Again, our apologies.

    Are you using the latest version of the app? 3.8.2? Versions 3.8.1 and 3.8.2 fixed a great number of bugs that 3.8 introduced.

    Yes, my WordPress App is fully updated. However, I m still experiencing issues. Articles that I attempt to publish disappear – never to be recovered, unfortunately.

    And I cannot access my Dashboard from the mobile App. It takes me to the full site and forces me to login via Safari.

    This is about i0S 7 but is NOT about the app– I am using it on my macbook air. After reading above I am terrified of losing entire posts like the OP– is that a possibility?

    Ever since updating to io7, I have had so many issues with the way the text looks in both draft and final form. I have used both firefox and google chrome for browsers.

    Inexplicably, today, the text in the body of my blog just looks extra small. I went to CSS and changed the font from +1 to +3 but it did not do much. I do not understand why this is happening and how to fix it??

  • Hi @masterclasslady,

    One thing that has worked for many is deleting the app and reinstalling it. If that doesn’t work, I’ll send you an e-mail with instructions on how to send us your crash logs for the mobile team to look at in more detail.

    @souvenirfinder – iOS 7 is only on iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad, not on Mac. I’ll reply to your other thread to continue to help you there.

    @kraftbj. I did the uninstall – reinstall dance and the issues still prevail. Still can’t access any of my dashboards via the mobile app.

    So, if you could send me the information re accessing my crash logs info., I will send it to you ASAP.
