iOS WordPress app not uploading posts or pages

    I am unable to upload posts or pages to my site using the wordpress app.

    I have deleted and reinstalled the app.
    I have deleted and reinstalled the Jetpack plugin on my sites
    I have disconnected and reconnected my sites to the Jetpack plugin

    All sites connected fail to upload. I have updated to the current version of WordPress and current Jetpack. I have even tried using older versions of WordPress and Jetpack.

    I can still see stats on some sites, but not all. I am unable to view or even edit existing posts, pages, or drafts.

    Hi there!

    We’re limited to what we can help with here as this is the free support forums for sites hosted here at WordPress.com. However, I can get you pointed in the right direction.

    It looks like your sites aren’t properly connected to WordPress.com through the Jetpack plugin and therefore you wouldn’t be able to use the apps.

    Note that to use features of Jetpack like Stats, Sharing, etc. – you need to also install the Jetpack mobile app due to some recent changes to the WordPress mobile apps. You can read more about this here:

    Back to your connection issues, it looks like your XML-RPC file is not accessible. While your site is publicly accessible, we cannot access your site’s XML-RPC file:

    https://techbreakout.com/xmlrpc.php

    This file is used by Jetpack and other plugins and apps to connect to your site. It must return the following message:

    XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.

    Since your site returns a 403 error for this page, I would recommend that you check your site’s security settings so it will allow your site to connect to your WordPress.com account so you can use the mobile apps.
