  Hello,

  Thanks for reaching out. When you’re trying to connect your domain from GoDaddy to your WordPress.com account, you don’t actually need an IP address. Instead, you would change the nameservers at GoDaddy to point to WordPress.com.

  Here’s how you can do that:

  1. First, log in to your GoDaddy account.
  2. Next to Domains, click Manage.
  3. Find the domain you want to use with WordPress.com and click DNS.
  4. In the Nameservers section, remove any existing nameservers and add the following instead:
  – ns1.wordpress.com
  – ns2.wordpress.com
  – ns3.wordpress.com

  After doing this, you’ll need to go to your WordPress.com account and set your Primary domain. You can follow these steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/set-primary-domain/
