  Hi! I’m trying to redirect my domain name to a wordpress site (profshapiro.wordpress.com) and I need the IP to do so. Thanks for your help!

  I just want to confirm what you would like to do. Would you like to use an existing domain for profshapiro.wordpress.com, instead of that address? If so, which domain would you like to use?

  Okay, to do that you will need to purchase one of our paid plans under My Site ->Plans, and then add the domain mapping upgrade, as explained here:

  Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping)

  Redirecting the domain to us via an IP address will not work.
