  where can i find my wordpress IP address becaus im trying to use filezilla and upload a theme to my blog. i dont know what goes into the host box

  WordPress.com blogs don’t provide FTP access, and there is no way to upload a theme or plugin.

  I see. So how do I get the best of both worlds? I want all the support and ease of the .com but need to upload a plugin to give my site what it needs.

  I want a blog, which I get, but a discussion board with it. There’s this plugin but I guess I can’t use it on the .com site.

  No you can’t, sorry. What you can do is to create a forum and link to it from your blog. Google “free online forums” to find one that might meet your needs.
