That is not the BLOG. That is a URL which is currently parked. Do you have a blog already registered at WordPress.com? If so, what is the address of the actual blog, starting with http.
-
No, that goes to the same parked page. What exactly are you trying to achieve? Point a domain?
-
That is the url for my bolg, this url http://asmarterlife.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ takes me to the admin page for it, but any attempt to go to the blog returns the GOdaddy parking page, I want the IP address wordpress use for the http://asmarterlife.wordpress.com/
What is the IP address for this, so I can point GoDaddy at it

Exactly what am I looking for here, it lists all of the available upgrade, in the domain section it list the domains I own
Is this what you need to know?
-
If you go to the Dashboard of your WP.com blog and click on Upgrades in the left sidebar, it will tell you which ones you’ve purchased and when they expire. And if you have the domain upgrade, it will tell you which URL you have set as primary.

@asmarterlife, before WordPress.com domain mapping will work for a domain that you purchased at an outside registrar, you must update the DNS and change the name servers to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM, NS2.WORDPRESS.COM, and NS3.WORDPRESS.COM. Please go to your domain registrar and ask them for help updating the name servers. They should be able to help you with that. Note that it can take up to 72 hours (but usually only a few) for a change in DNS records to take full effect across the internet.

I know how to change the domain name survers, but this then prevents my email name@asmarterlife working, is there no other way?
I want to have both the email and address working at the same time
-
Did you look at this? It is the only way with mapped domains here: http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/custom-email/
-
I tried this and could not get it to work with my GoDady email, I’m told that CName will work but so far no joy
-
@asmarterlife, your choices are to either 1) map yourdomain.com to your WordPress.com blog by updating the Name Servers and use Google Apps for email or 2) map a subdomain such as blog.yourdomain.com to your WordPress.com blog by setting up a CNAME record and changing the Name Servers to the hosting provider you would like to use for your email. You cannot have a WordPress.com-mapped domain and also use the email system of another provider. Google Apps is currently the only email service that works with WordPress.com-mapped domains using the WordPress.com Name Servers.
