Dou you need the mapping domain upgrade & change the “nameservers”:

I need for my domain hosted by wix to “point” to my wordpress blog?
So, wix needs something (since wordpress does not have a static address) from wordpress so they can point to my wordpress blog. What is that record? What can I give them for them to do this?
Thanks.

All of you need for use your domain on WordPress.com is here:

Yes, i did read it.
So, I paid WordPress $13 to “map an existing domain.”They said, “Congratulations” and indicated that I should “change the domain’s name servers.”
So, I went over to Wix where I have purchased my domain and they said that “it is not possible to connect a Wix domain to an external site by changing the domain’s name servers.”
I spoke to Wix’s customer service and they told me that I need “something” (a record, a number, a code?) from WordPress for my domain hosted by them to “point” to my wordpress blog?

@galois is correct.
It looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=tonyvillatoro.org
Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
For more information, please visit the help documentation provided by the registrar and our support page:

I cannot change the names servers on my domain’s registrar.

Hi Tony,
It sounds like Wix is asking you to set up an A record to point your domain to WordPress.com. However, A records rely on IP addresses to work. Because WordPress.com does not use static IP addresses, you can’t rely on those — when the IP addresses change, your domain will stop working.
If Wix doesn’t allow you to change your domain’s name servers, you may need to transfer your domain to a different registrar that does allow it. I’d recommend choosing from one of the registrars listed at the bottom of our support page here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
That way, you can follow the steps to point your domain to WordPress.com using name servers.
