  I need an IP address for domain mapping. Where can I find one?

  I think you need the nameservers, not an IP address. Here’s the info from https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/ :

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  Hi! The registrar is also asking for the IP Address.

  Hi there,

  If your registrar is unable to set the name servers for your domain, you can add A-records instead.

  You will need to add two A-records with these IPs:

  192.0.78.24

  192.0.78.25

  These IPs can change over time, at which point your domain will stop working. Should that happen, please contact us again for the new IPs.
