  I need to know the IP address of my site so I can transfer it to a domain I’ve bought.

  Hi Hazel –

  We suggest mapping your domain via Name Servers over an IP. The reason is that over time, IPs will change and so you’ll need to update that information every so often. Name Servers are a constant value that do not change the same way.
