  I am trying to edit DNS record at Hostgator. They are asking for IP Address of WordPress.

  There you will find your website host details including IP Address.

  Hi there!

  Are you trying to use your own domain with your WordPress.com site? If yes, you will need the following:

  1. Upgrade to a paid WordPress.com plan here: https://wordpress.com/plans
  2. Follow the instructions here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/

  After you have added your domain to your WordPress.com site, you will see the IP addresses on your dashboard that you can add to your domain to point it to your WordPress.com site.
