IP Address and Setup time of WordPress.com Site

    Hi there,

    I operate a wordpress.com hosted blog site dedicated to hundreds of victims of an investment scam. The site simply aims to state the facts and share the stories of victims.

    Bottom line, millions of dollars were handed over to an investment ‘expert’ with ‘guaranteed returns’ promised via written agreements (sounds fishy now I know!). Years and years have passed, and not a cent has been returned (and probably never will be), and many of the investments have been placed into administration/liquidation.

    I am now receiving threatening legal letters via email from the ‘expert’ who has failed to return a cent of investors money.

    Could a wordpress.com staff member please forward on to me via *private’ email the following:
    — The date and time (UTC) at which a site was created
    The IP address from which a site was created

    I ask this so that I know what will be handed over in the unlikely even of WordPress.com being compelled to do so.
