IP address confidentiality

  so, I’ve noticed that I can see all the ip addresses of people who post comments on my blog through the admin control panel and email notifications(for comments).

  my question is: if I(as admin) reply to those comments, will my IP address be visible to the people I’ve replied to?

  @dohkeufer,

  Absolutely not. :) The IP addresses are shown to you, as the site owner. However, people who reply to your comments will not be able to view your IP address.

  You can see for yourself by commenting using a different email id/WordPress.com account.
