IP Address for Domain

  I do not want to move my DNS management to wordpress.com. I’d like to just get the A record I need to have my site work with my current DNS provider. Since I bought the package with my set up, I cannot get to this screen to follow this method to get my IP address https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-a-domain-alternative-method/

  Thanks for reaching out to us! That is indeed the correct support documentation.

  You can obtain the needed DNS records from Upgrades > Domains within your account. On that page, look to the right of the custom domain name and click on the “Go to setup” button, and it will bring you to a new page.

  On this new page, click on the “advanced setup” link located at the top of the page. From here you can follow steps 6 – 8 (starting with clicking the “Start Setup” button) in our support guide at https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-a-domain-alternative-method/#step-1-add-the-domain to reveal the DNS records you’re looking for.
