  I have tried to point my GoDaddy domain to WordPress.com bout I cannot do so using WPs
  DNS names:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  The GoDaddy site rejects these and prompts me to supply an actual IP address.

  Please advise,

  We can use an A record if we have to, but pointing the domain to WordPress.com name servers works better, so let’s try one more time.

  Are these the instructions you are using?
