    It can be almost anything. WordPRess.com is cloud-based and blogs can move from server to server. You don’t need the IP address for any WordPress.com actions, and you can’t rely on it either

    These are the six IP addresses for my site here, WordPress.COM does not support static IP addresses. The IP addresses change based on server load, routine system maintenance, upgrades etc.

    76.74.254.120
    66.155.9.238
    192.0.81.250
    66.155.11.238
    76.74.254.123
    192.0.80.250

    When I moved here there were three. Using a single IP address for a blog here will assure your blog will crash from time to time based on normal operation of the server farms

    Just to illustrate the point, mine are currently

    192.0.81.250
<em>66.155.9.238</em>
<em>66.155.11.238</em>
<em>76.74.254.123</em>
76.74.255.123

    You can see that four are the same as auxclass’s and two are not. If I checked tomorrow, or maybe even in a few minutes, they would have changed
