IP Addresses
-
There are some users in my company that manage blogs on WordPress and recently, our internal web filter device (WebSense) has starting blocking certain SSL traffic. Some users can no longer sign into their WordPress accounts.
I need a list of IP Addresses that i can exclude from our web filter so that traffic to WordPress is not blocked. Can you provide me with a list of IP Addresses?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no permanent static IP address for any WordPress.com blog. All IPs are dynamic ie. ever changing. Therefore WordPress.com does not provide static IP addresses. However, I’ll tag this thread for a Staff response. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

I realize that there are no static IP addresses, so a range of IP addresses to exclude will be fine. Currently, my users can’t login to their blogs, so if I could exclude 66.155.11.x for example, that would be fine, but I need to know all potential ranges.

These are the six IP addresses that WordPress.COM admits it uses for my site here.
192.0.80.250
192.0.81.250
66.155.11.238
66.155.9.238
76.74.254.120
76.74.254.123 -
Thanks auxclass. Those are indeed our current IP addresses.
@miketreanor, please note that like timethief mentioned, our IP addresses change over time, so we cannot guarantee that whitelisting those will always work.

Thank you auxclass. I notice the first two IP Addresses that you mention are not public IP Addresses. Those are private IP Addresses and not accessible over the Internet. Were those IP’s listed in error?
