  I have an old site that i own domain and I want people to be directed to my wordpress site when they type in my old sites web address. I need my I.P. address. Where do I find this info?

  There’s not a single IP address for your site, since we have it cached on geographically-diverse servers to improve performance and ensure uptime.

  For mapping an existing domain, you can use our Domain Mapping upgrade with instructions here:

  You can likewise use a CNAME record for a subdomain: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/
