  I want to block an IP address from being able to read my blog. It would be this address: (IP: 109.38.140.88) this is someone who stalks.

  Blocking an IP address isn’t very effective as IP addresses changes every day.

  Hi there,

  Since your blog is public, there’s no way of blocking someone from reading it. Even if you could block their IP, they could use a different internet connection, another computer, a VPN service, etc.

  The only way to block them is to make your blog private and invite only the people you want to read it. You can read more about that here:

  I had been given the understanding that it was possible to block someone’s IP address.

  You can block an IP address but by doing so you don’t block a certain person as IP addresses are very volatile.

  No, it’s not possible to block a single user from viewing your site. You can only blacklist a user so that their comments go to Spam but they will still be able to view the site. Here’s more about that:
