iPad no longer loads the 'iPad version' of WordPress blog

Why doesn’t my blog (The3TWO1.wordpress.com) load on the iPad today? It did yesterday… Is this to do with the iOS update yesterday?
After noticing this problem, I went and unchose the OnSwipe Setting for the iPad. Now all I get is a text-driven version of the blog. Not at all why I went to WordPress to do our blog.
Please help!

Are you using iOS 6? If so, that is a known issue.
We’re actually in the process of phasing out the OnSwipe theme for iPads. You can find more information in this earlier thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/the-onswipe-ipad-theme-is-no-longer-available-on-new-blogs
For now you can disable the theme at Appearance > iPad.
If your current theme isn’t scaling for the iPad well enough, you might want to try one of the available responsive themes, which are designed to scale to any screen size: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/responsive-width/

With Onswipe NOT selected, my sites USED to come up automatically on the ipad in standard site mode looking just as they do on my notebook. . What is happening now with Onswipe NOT selected is that instead of loading the standard web page, it loads what looks like onswipe page with no CSS, just text. Flashback to 1993 before the GUI for the internet. At the bottom it has two links Mobile and Full Site. You have to click Full Site to get to the actual website. So whatever changes you are making, the current state is that we MUST choose OnSwipe or our users will see this text mess.

And with onswipe selected, you get the blank screen. Regular websites work,perfectly well for the iPad. Seems as though that is not longer an option for us.

I think I’m having the same problem. All of my favorite blogs are displaying in a clunky text format, not the personalized formats with graphics and side bars. When will this be fixed? I hope this is not a new default view.

Was just coming in to recheck them and all are looking great now. Was so odd because every single one would show just the text result I’d OnSwipe was NOT checked and a blank screen ifit was. But all ok now. Thank you for checking back.

I figured this would get sorted quickly. I tend to think most of my IT problems come from ‘operator error’ and was glad to see that this time it wasn’t me.
