iPhone 6 not showing recent notifications

  I recently upgraded to iPhone 6 and installed the free WordPress app. I also use my PC at home. Everything is still fine on my PC, but I can’t keep up with my notifications while I’m on the road (well, I found an inconvenient fix in that I can open the comments for a particular site, but would prefer to see up-to-date notifications).

  Everything had been working fine until yesterday. Then all of a sudden, I started receiving notices when my phone was off of WordPress notifications. These messages showed a preview of the notification, but when I unlocked the phone and opened the WordPress app, recent notifications were not showing. As of now, when I go into notifications, it only shows them from yesterday. Refreshing the notifications page doesn’t help. Shutting down the phone didn’t help.

  Notifications are fine on my PC. The funny thing is that the app clearly knows of newer notifications, as it displays them when the phone is locked, but when I unlock the phone, open the WordPress app, and refresh the notifications page, they are nowhere to be found.

  Am I simply overlooking something obvious. Any help would be appreciated.
