iPhone / iPad apps with publish date problems

  I’m catching up on some blogs, so backdating, i.e. Posting a blog with a date of January 2015, not July 2015.

  If I do this from the website all works fine. If i do it from either the ipad or iphone app, despite me putting say Jan 16th in, it posts with the current date, ie today.

  Is this expected behaviour or a bug? I am editing the post and updating with the date, but my subscribers are getting their first email and of course when I change the date that link in the email doesnt work, neither do any of the links in my social sharing.
