Iphone mobile app

I cannot login to the wordpress mobile app on my iphone, and I cant even open the wordpress.com site through the safari browser.
I have just transferred all of my blog posts over to wordpress from travel pod as they are closing down. It works fine on the PC, but using the same login details on the app it wont work for some reason. It just says connecting, the it says the request timed out and wont log in.
This is not an internet issue as everything else is working fine, and I can search all other websites through my safari browser.
Can you please assist and fix the problem so that I can continue to blog.
I am currently travelling and do not have a laptop with me, so the only access to a PC i have is if the place I am staying has one or in an internet cafe. Therefore I need to use my phone for this.
This is extremely frustrating.

it says the request timed out and wont log in.
That error means there’s a connection issue. Your phone is not able to connect to our servers. This could be a problem with the device itself, or it is a problem with your network provider.
Please try completely restarting your device. Also check if using a different network provider, or wifi rather than mobile data, makes any difference.

The fact that other websites work don’t rule out network issues at all. A caching issue on your device can prevent you from connecting to specific sites/services, as can an ISP blocking a specific website.
