iPhone WordPress app: notifications not working anymore after app update

Hello,
I downloaded & installed the latest iOS WordPress app update a couple of days ago & ever since then, notifications in the app haven’t been working. To be precise, when I click on “notifications” only a message reading “no notifications so far” appears when I know I’ve had plenty up till now, they were working in the app before the update, & I can see them in my browser on the computer. Obviously, this means I can’t reply to comments in the app, can’t check out new followers, etc.
The Reader & stats get updated & I haven’t found any other issues except for the completely absent notifications.
My iPhone is running the latest version of iOS, 8.0.2 which was installed some time before the WordPress update so that can’t be the issue.
I have tried to look up this problem in the Support section – no relevant hits – & searched the forums but found nothing applicable either so any help would be appreciated.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The best place to post this would be in the iOS forum rather than here: https://ios.forums.wordpress.org/ They use an ORG login there, so if you don’t have an ORG account, you’ll need to sign up for one.
