  I am trying to transfer my domain name over to wordless site. I need IPS address and please advise me how to request transfer on your platform?

  I requested this information some time ago and awaiting a reply! I am not very happy with this customer support!!

  First of all, to transfer a custom domain and use it on WordPress.com, you have to upgrade from a free plan to any of the above.

  I don’t see anywhere on 123-reg where it says you need an IP address. You need to follow the steps described on their website to prepare the transfer.

  I have spent my morning trying to carry out what should be a straight forward procedure! I have spoken to an adviser at 123 who advised me that I require the IPS address of my future provider! If this is going to be WordPress?

  If your domain host does require IPS tag you can ask someone from Staff to look at this thread by adding the “modlook” tag to this thread. They will be able to give you more details on domain transfer.
