  Hi, I’d like to transfer my domain name from 123-reg to WordPress, the help team at 123-reg said I need an IPS tag from you guys and to ask the support team for one.
  I don’t know my URL yet as I need to transfer my domain name first I think? Not sure; this isn’t my area and confuses me a great deal.

  Hi! Our system actually doesn’t support incoming .uk transfers just yet, but you can certainly connect the domain with your site. That’s free with any paid plan:
  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  So you’ll keep the domain renewed at the 123-reg, and connect it to your site here. Does that help? If not, send more details and we’ll go from there.
