IPv6? Losing followers!

Can someone answer the question, one that has been outstanding for over two years? When are you going to begin supporting IPv6? I have asked support and even blogged on it. I now have IPv6 only people that no longer have access to my blog. Your lack of support of IPv6 is loosing me and the other bloggers on the WordPress platform followers!!!

Are you talking about wordpress.com blogs? If so then this thread need official Happiness Engineers attention.
If you’re talking about Self Hosted Blogs then that’s something in your web server config or DNS. WordPress processes the requests it receives from the webserver and is not really aware of the IP configuration involved.
I haven’t done much with IPv6 but it might be something related to the fact that your main install is configured as an IPv4 while the mapped domain is configured as an IPv6. :)

At any rate – the response here will be from the Staff /Happiness Engineers and will be only relevant to those sites hosted on WordPress.COM servers which would include mapped domains & the VIP service and will not be relevant to any WordPress.ORG installs
