Is Backup and restore included in WordPress ?

  I can’t find d anything about backup/restore in the WordPress-documentation.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  You can back-up a WordPress.com site through the Export function.

  Note however, that this function backs-up your posts, pages, content, comments, in general but not your theme.

  Hi,

  I deleted, by mistake, all the pictures in my wordpress. (parisartreview). I wanted to have more space.

  What I did not know when I deleted all the pictures, is that the pictures would also disappear in the articles. So now all the pictures is gone.

  Do you know any way to get back my pictures in the articles ?

  I would appreciate any kind of help. I do not get well how wordpress back up is working.

  Hello parisartreview!

  The only option to delete images from the media library on a WordPress.com site is deleting them permanently. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to get the images back. You can try to use a search engine, like Google, to check if it’s still showing the pictures on the search results, then you can download to your computer and add them back to your site’s media library.

  Since your posts, pages and the site in general uses the images you upload to your Media Library, you need to be careful when deleting them, if they are not anymore on the same address (URL) that you have added to your post/pages/site content, they will not be shown anymore.
