is content lost after a custom domain name upgrade

  If I upgrade to a custom domain for 18 Euros/a year (without the .wordpress. in the web address of the blog), will the content already uploaded be lost?

  your content is safe – you would just add a second URL on top of the original URL and all the old URL’s will keep working – and you will still work in the original blogs dashboard

  just don’t get confused and delete the original blog – deleting a blog is about the only real way to loose content here
