Is data secured?

    I am going to create a website for data entry.
    The data will contain name, address and phone number etc.
    Is it safe to store these sensitive data on wordpress?

    What exactly are you trying to do? Do you mean you want to use the contact form to collect that data?

    Information submitted via the contact form on your site is stored in the Feedback section of the dashboard and sent to your email, so any admin on your site, or anyone with access to your email account, will have access to the information. So how safe this is depends on how secure your passwords on WordPress.com and your email is, whether or not you use two-factor authentication on those services, and whether you share those accounts or your computer with other people.

    It might be a good idea to also contact a lawyer in your country/state for advice about any local laws that might apply to collecting this type of data where you live.
