Is embedding Storify on your WordPress blog a good idea?

Hi there blogger forum users,
I manage a blog for a large charity and I’ve recently run into a bit of stickiness to do with Storify.
Some colleagues think that Storify should be used on blogs to get timely pieces of info and stories to our blog readers, but using Storify – and by nature it’s links to external sites and journalistic approach to getting info out there – I’m concerned that a) this will take people away from the blog – which I am trying to increase it’s return visitors for and b) it will become a dumping ground for media storify’s with no personal writing style to them to engage with readers.
However, I can see the merits of using Storify, but I’m unsure as to whether it’s a good tool for WordPress blogs.
Would very much appreciate peoples own experiences of using this tool on WordPress blogs and whether you think yay or nay.
