is free wordpress site diasbling mp3 upload ?

  i want to test some mp3 features on my free wordpress web site , before moving to the pro bundle. I cant seem to be able to upload mp3. although jpg files work nicely.
  Is this a known limitation , which will not exist once i move to the pro version ?

  Read the fine print on the Video / Audio upgrade – seems to me that it takes an upgrade to directly host audio and video files on your blog

  Hi all,
  thanks a lot for the fast answer. You are right, I will be able to upload mp3 ONLY if I subscribe the video/Audio Upgrade.
  ( Yes I should have read more closely the Manual ) :-)
