Is FTP available for this site

    Hi,
    I am editing a site for a client whos name severs are ns1.wordpress.com ns2.wordpress.com ns3.wordpress.com .

    I am asking for FTP access but she seem unsure what this is and who the site is hosted by.

    I have little experience of the wordpress.com setup an was wondering if anyone knew if FTP can be used on the site or how I can check.

    The site has the regular WP dashboard

    Thanks for any help you can give.

    Hi there,

    Let me confirm the website you need help with is ianscycling.wordpress.com ?

    FTP access is not allowed to blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com, though there are alternative options available.

    What exactly are you trying to do? It is not possible to edit the source files of WordPress.com sites in any way, but if we know what you’re trying to do, we might be able to suggest alternatives.
