Is is possible to use web-forwarding WITHOUT 'domain mapping' in wordpress.com?
-
I have a domain (babli.org), registered with an external provider, which I had set up with ‘WordPress Domain Mapping’, so that it would RE-DIRECT to my wordpress.com site (bablifarm.wordpress.com).
It has been running smoothly, with this setup, for the past year.
Now, my domain mapping subscription has EXPIRED (today) – and I DON’T want to renew it right away.
Instead, I want to use the WEB FORWARDING feature provided by my domain-registrar, so that my domain can LOAD the same wordpress.com site.
And I am UNABLE to find a way to SET DNS RECORDS within my WordPress>Admin tools…
Is it at all POSSIBLE to do such a ‘redirection’ with a WordPress.com site – WITHOUT the ‘Domain Mapping’ feature upgrade – I wonder?
Any advise/ help would be much appreciated.

Domain Mapping is the only way that using babli.org with your WordPress.com site will work properly.
