Is it a widget, or is it something else?

I set up my blog several months ago, but I’ve forgotten how to edit one of its features. The theme is Mystique and I set it up with a main column and one sidebar to the right where I placed several widgets.

The problem: at the bottom of the main column (not the sidebar) there is a gray rectangular box where I inserted my avatar along with a brief line of text, about me.

Now I can’t remember how to access that gray box and edit it. Is it a widget? I don’t think so, because widgets only go in the sidebar (I think). And it’s not in any of the footer widget areas, at least as far as I can tell.

    Any help greatly appreciated!

I cannot see what you refer to on this blog http://btse1.wordpress.com/
Perhaps you are referring to a different blog and what you mean is what you mean is the author profile.

Very few themes have an author profile that displays below every post. The data is derived from here > Dashboard > Users > My Profile > About You (section) and anything you add there appears on your Gravatar profile page as well. That’s where you edit or delete your existing entry.

That was the tip / hint I needed. Thank you!
