Is it cheaper to buy a premium?

Is it in the long run cheaper to buy a Premium Version? I find it rather expencive to pay for the blog and text every year, and even get adds on it. If I og premium, is it a one-time payment only or do I still have to pay every year?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there, the WordPress.com Premium upgrade is an annual charge.

If you were to purchase each of the included upgrades separately, it would cost $160. The Premium upgrade costs $99, so if you’ll make use of its features, it’s definitely a good deal. In fact, since you already have a domain on your account, you can get the Premium upgrade for a special rate of $79.

You can see exactly what’s included in WordPress.com Premium here:

If you decide to go ahead with the purchase, let me know and I’d be glad to cancel your existing Custom Design upgrade and credit your account for the unused portion, since it only expires next year. Once the Custom Design upgrade is removed, you should see WordPress.com Premium as an option at $79. Any Custom Design changes will disappear temporarily, but will return as soon as you’ve purchased the Premium upgrade.

Just let me know if you have any other questions.
