Is it crazy to embed a WordPress.com blog into a WordPress.org site???

  Greetings

  I need your knowledge and wisdom and call me crazy if that’s the short answer.

  I have been happy with WordPress.com hosting my blog for almost 2 years. Now I’m creating a spin off and need a proper self-hosted site as money will come into play.

  Right now, I do not know to leave my blog as is and somehow (if possible) to embed it into the future self-hosted site.
  OR
  Just fresh start and import the WordPress.com blog into the new site under the Blog tab.

  Thoughts and comments would be much appreciated!

  It’s possible, but it seems a waste of effort and will not help your new site with its SEO. Just export the blog here, Import it to the website there, and purchase the Redirect Upgrade to divert your old readers to your new site.
