Is it legal to embed youtube videos from other users?

youtube embed
I’ve shared youtube videos from musicians in blog posts. Is it legal to embed youtube videos as long as I am not uploading them as my own content? I am using the share option to embed a video from youtube.
I don’t want to continue publishing posts with videos in them if I can get in trouble for doing this. Can you please let me know whether or not this is ok/legal?
I have already contacted support about this issue and have received no respose. Can you please respond to my inquiry and provide me with more information? Thank you so much for your help.

Hi Michelle,
I show that our Terms of Service team sent an e-mail response back on the 9th regarding this. I’m pasting their response below. In short, if the video allows itself to be embedded and YouTube hasn’t pulled it down for copyright violation, it should be fine.
Hi Michelle,
Thanks for contacting us. If the copyright owner (musician) gave permission (or uploaded the video themselves), and hasn’t removed it from YouTube for copyright infringement, it should be fine.
Please note that this is not legal advice. For legal assistance you may consider contacting the Electronic Frontier Foundation or the American Civil Liberties Union.
I hope this helps!
Best,
Bryan V.
