Is it mandatory to create Two-Step Authentification?

  I do not want to create Two-Step Authentification. My password is quite strong, and I don’t want to submit my cellphone #. I greatly appreciate the blog space you provide to me. Thank you for your service.

  Two step is not required, but yes the “enable two step” is in your face – and does provide another layer – one person was in the forum today and someone had gotten their password and tried to log in with it and the two step did stop the unauthorized access – but the blog owner was a bit freaked out

  No, it is not. WP recommends it, but it is not required. Also, it seems at times there are problems with it based on the posts I’ve seen here at the forum.

  I have no cell phone and don’t plan on having one. I am not going to give my home number. :)
